Am I suitable for CJA Slim?

CJA Slim is ideal for patients with a BMI of 30 or more or those with a BMI of overweight with one weight related comorbidity such as high blood pressure, type two diabetes, high cholesterol or high blood triglycerides.

Who is not suitable for CJA Slim?

Pregnant and breastfeeding mums, patients with type one diabetes, a history of thyroid problems, pancreatitis or those taking certain medications. Our doctors will examine your medical history during your consultation.

How long does CJA Slim program last?

The introductory program will last up to six weeks. The length of the program depends on the individual and how much weight you need to lose - our clients on average lose 18lbs in the first three weeks.


To continue the medication after the introductory program, 5% of your body weight needs to be lost at 12 weeks on the maintenance dosage (every patient achieves this). Don't worry - our doctors will explain this in more detail during your consultation.

How much does it cost?

The CJA Slim introductory program costs £295, including the initial consultation and a prescription for six weeks' appetite suppressant. A £50 deposit is taken to book your consultation; refundable if you don't meet the criteria for participation in the CJA Slim program. the fee also includes access to our doctors for support and advice throughout your CJA Slim journey.

How much weight will I lose?

This depends on the client, but in the first month on average our clients lose between 15 and 20 lbs with total loss at six weeks of 20 - 35 lbs.

Is the program safe?

Yes. The prescribed appetite suppressant medication Saxenda (liraglutide) is MHRA licensed for the treatment of obesity in overweight patients.

Are there any side effects?

Some patients experience nausea and GI disturbance. This is usually transient passing within a couple of days. Our doctors will discuss all possible side effects during your initial consultation.
